The 2010 season for the Baylor Bears featured a lot of ups and downs. For the team and their recent history, the ups definitely have to be what's remembered and focused on, because the team had a respectable season and exceeded the expectations of most.
At the end of October, the Bears football squad ended up ranked at #25 for the week, their first time in the top 25 in nearly 20 years. The ranking wouldn't stay though, as the losses mounted, with the team losing four straight to close out the year, including a bowl game loss to Illinois. Focus on the positives though, like the three straight wins versus Colorado, Kansas State and Texas.
The 2011 season for the Baylor Bears is going to start tough, as they meet TCU in the opener. The schedule then ends tough as well, with the final three games of the season coming against Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Texas. The Texas and Oklahoma games though will both be at home, and the team will also host Missouri, Kansas State and Texas A&M earlier in the year.
For Baylor, 2011 could be a year to build on some success and start making progress towards the top of the Big 12. If they can do that, then Baylor football tickets for the season will be a prized possession in Waco.
