After so much success for such an extended period of time, the Colorado Avalanche certainly don't like being on the bottom of the barrel. They have both Jean-Sebastien Giguere, formerly of the Anaheim Ducks, and Semyon Varlamov, formerly of the Washington Capitals, and those two can compete for the starting job or split time on the ice to give the team an improved net presence.
