The Vancouver Canucks had a phenomenal regular season in 2010-2012. They had the best record in the league, bringing home the President's Trophy with 117 points and winning 54 games, while no other team won more than 48. It was a great year, but ultimately it ended with disappointment.

The Canucks were widely favored to defeat the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals. However they couldn't get it done, and some of their best players showed up small in the championship series as they lost in 7 games. But, Vancouver is very talented and they are ready to make another run at it. Last year will be a learning experience, and the Canucks have one goal and one goal alone for 2011-2012, and that's winning that elusive Stanley Cup.

There's plenty of talent to go around, and all of the biggest names are back, including the Sedin twins, Henrik and Daniel, emerging superstar Ryan Kessler, Manny Malhotra and more. Of course, one of the biggest names and most polarizing figures is the guy in net, Roberto Luongo. Luongo was up and down in the playoffs and ultimately had a few very poor games which really cost the team, despite his overall excellent work.
