With Al Davis at the head of the ship, you never know what the Oakland Raiders are up to, or who will be the people involved. So when it seems like they have a good thing going with their head coach, finally, they obviously ditch him and hire someone new instead. In comes Hue Jackson to take charge of the Raiders, coming off a respectable 8-8 season where they showed some signs of promise and hope for the future.

At quarterback, there's an ongoing competition to see who is going to perform and who is going to get the starter. It could be Jason Campbell, or it could be Bruce Gradkowski, and the favorite seems to change all the time. If one of those two can really step it up in 2011, then the team's chances of making it back to the playoffs will greatly improve.

The team has a pretty stout defense, with veterans like Richard Seymour leading the charge, but unfortunately for the time, it looks like in 2011 that star cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha won't be back with the team, unless something changes.

Running back Darren McFadden was finally healthy and playing up to expectations last season, and they will need another big year from him. If they get that, and one of their quarterbacks steps up and takes charge, then the team could really make a run. But once again, it's the Raiders, and so you never know.
